The macOS app includes bundled FFmpeg, ffprobe, MediaInfo, and other open-source components used to support local media analysis, transcoding, and creator workflow features. DreamWorkshop can also work with supported system-installed tools when applicable. DreamWorkshop itself is commercial software; the notices below apply to those third-party projects.
